銘「十一月の和歌山」

柘製作所が使う根竹は和歌山県からくる。しかし、竹を伐採し根竹を堀り起こす時期は11月と決められている。1年通じて雨が一番少ない時期。これが銘の由来。シャンクの太い根竹はステッキ竹を贅沢にあしらう。ダボのシステムは2段ダボ。ブライヤーボウルもそうだが、根竹も使い込んでいくうちに琥珀色に変化してくる。

Bamboos Tsuge-factory uses are from Wakayama. However, the season when they cut down and unearth bamboos is decided in November. The origin of inscription is the season when we have the least rain in a year. The thick bamboos of the shank are treated stick bamboos extravagantly. The system of Tenon is two stage. Both the bryer-bowl and the bamboos change gold while we use them.
